About Your Instructor

Welcome to my Web page. I have been a medical assisting educator/program chair for over 30 years. I received my bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in Medical Technology, and my Master's degree from Notre Dame University in the Science of Administration. I am nationally registered as a Medical Technologist and as a Certified Medical Assistant.

I am very pleased to announce that I have my first nationally published textbook. Elsevier is publishing the text entitled Laboratory Testing for Ambulatory Care - A Guide to Heath Care Professionals (with Emphasis on CLIA waived tests)

My husband, Mike, and I are the parents of four children - Gala, Teal, Josh, and Alli. We are also the grandparents of two grandchildren - Ezra, and Solomon.
