MISSION STATEMENT

Faculty Assembly supports academic leadership and the vision and mission of the college through representation, unification, communication and provides an accountable voice in the administrative and academic decision making process.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

• To encourage and promote communication within the faculty, staff, administration and Board of Trustees.
• To encourage and promote professional development of faculty.
• To encourage and promote faculty participation in community activities.
• To involve the faculty in academic issues, college policies, and institutional effectiveness.
• To create internal faculty assembly committees that address issues and concerns of faculty responsibilities, expectations, governance and representation.
• To maximize faculty involvement on various regional committees.
• To promote faculty input in planning and implementing college programs, services, policies and facilities.
