- Used by most campuses as the
delivery system for distance education Internet courses, Blackboard
is a very flexible system. It can be used in many creative ways. Features
fall in one of three areas; sharing documents, facilitating communication,
and classroom administration.
- First Day
- I set up a class
titled "First Day" (FD_101) on the Academic.com/Blackboard system within
the first few hours on the job, January 2, 2001. It's served as a trial
and error zone as I explore the features of Academic.com/Bb. Many different
media and digital files have been used, not for any educational value
other than to learn the process of developing and presenting information
in different formats. I've expanded the area to include tips, tricks,
and training sessions, If you would like to be a student In First Day,
to view different media use in Blackboard, contact me to be added to
the roster.
