The Design Technology program prepares people for challenging and rewarding careers in a design profession. Concentrations include Architecture, CAD/CAM, and Mechanical.
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) and the Associate of Science (AS) degrees provide a strong foundation in design principles and technology utilizing the latest computer software and hardware available. Degree program courses include a set of technical electives based on a selected concentration of study as well as general education courses. Graduates of the Design Technology program have the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to future advances and changes in technology, or to continue their education at other colleges and universities. | Students enrolled in the Design Technology Program must submit a portfolio in the DESN 225 - Portfolio Preparation course. The Design Technology Portfolio is a document you submit to the College for outcome assessment of your college-level learning. |
