MISSION STATEMENT:

The Arts & Design Division of Ivy Tech State College helps students realize their goals by offering practical learning opportunities for all individuals in art and design…

First, through curriculum that results in an Associate of Fine Arts or Associate of Science, emulating the first two years of a baccalaureate degree, enabling a student to transfer for higher education.

Second, through curriculum that terminates in an Associate of Applied Science, preparing a student for successful careers in Visual Communications or Environmental Design.

Third, through curriculum that engages non-degree seeking students, fostering a sense of art and design appreciation and personal enrichment for individuals and the community.
