Welcome to Instructional Technology for Region 2!

Mission of the department: To promote and support the use of technology to improve classroom learning, communication and interactivity within the region To serve as the gateway for guidance, assistance, and representation for regional faculty on statewide distance education policies and procedures Instructional Technology serves the students, faculty, and staff of region 2 and, through Distance Education, regions throughout the state of Indiana. In this region we support over 115 Internet courses and over 40 2-way video courses. In addition to the support of distance education, our department also provides the support of classroom technology and A/V (audio/videio) classroom equipment. Our primary means of support is training. We provide the technology overview for student orientations and we also help orient new faculty. Staff training sessions and professional development opportunities are held throughout the year at all three campuses of the region.
