With Bloglines, you can subscribe to the RSS feeds of your favorite blogs, and Bloglines will monitor updates to those sites. You can read the latest entries easily within Bloglines; and best of all, email, save, or even post items to your own blog. (I've used it for several years, but may now be switching to Google Reader. IE7 now has a builtin RSS management system/reader, but no sharing options.)
