Hello, my name is Cathy Denby. I have been an instructor in English III at Ivy Tech Community College, South Bend, since the spring semester of 2003. I received my B.A. at St. Mary's in Humanistic Studies, where we studied the history of the Western World and the great literature and art it produced. I spent my sophomore year studying at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. I traveled all over Europe as well as to Lithuania and Russia. My husband and I have four children, and when the youngest entered pre-school, l I went back to school. I received a tuition free scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where I earned my M.A. in English. I write long poetic novels for fun, and have just gotten a chapter of one published in an anthology by Outrider Press.
